A Step Ahead Dance is committed to providing quality dance education to students ages two - adult in a positive, nurturing, inclusive environment. Each student is challenged to improve technique, strength and flexibility in all levels and styles of dance training. We strive to help students gain self confidence and build teamwork skills that are vital throughout life!

Early Start Program

We make sure that our youngest dancers have fun while receiving a solid dance foundation. Technique is presented in a creative, approachable, play focused atmosphere. Children are able to indulge their imaginations while learning to dance.

Youth
Program

At age 7, students are ready cognitively and physically to explore additional styles of dance. Our Youth Program offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Tumbling for Dance. Classes are 45 minutes each and meet once per week.

Essential
Program

By age 10, students have gained the confidence and maturity needed for a more in depth exploration of dance styles. Essential Program classes are 1 to 1.5 hours per week. Offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tumbling, Modern, Lyrical/Contemporary, Prepointe and Pointe.
